Definition of Terms and Conditions.

Purchaser will be granted permission to….

  • Keep originals or duplicates provided, to make duplicates or prints as needed and to archive the images as slides, prints, on CD or in other electronic forms.
  • Use the images in slide shows, in electronic presentations, and on web pages.
  • Use the images in publications not intended for sale, such as newsletters, brochures, fundraising appeals, public service announcements, magazine “in-house” ads, grant proposals, reports, awards, thank-you cards, displays, mailings and invitations, sponsorship packets, annual reports, calendars, posters, books, and/or paid advertising.
  • Image use is granted on a non-exclusive basis and Paul Tyson photography reserve the right to sell and distribute images to third parties.
  • Non-exclusive use does not permit the sale of the image in print, other format or as part of a another item, unless expressly permitted in the Permissions agreement as issued.

As conditions of this permission, purchaser shall:

  • Provide credit to me in writing as follows: © Paul Tyson Photography.
  • Non- Exclusive, rights permitted use.
  • Purchaser will be granted full permission to use, sell and distribute the image for commercial or non-profit use as required.
  • Paul Tyson photography reserves the right to sell or distribute images to any other third party

4) Basic Commissions.

Basic level of commissions constitutes one photo shoot at a pre- determined location, or as per the requirements of a pre-determined theme. Client will be presented with a collection of images for selection of up to but not more than ten final images to be granted for non-exclusive use.

Additional Images may be purchased at the current rate for digital images.

Exclusive permissions and rates negotiable at application.

Photo shoot includes all original photography on location, all post processing, consultations session if required to assist in choosing the desired images and distribution of final images to client.

5) Advanced Commissions.

Advanced level photo shoots are those which, upon agreement with the client fall outside of the definitions of the basic commissions. This may be due to the complexity of the shoot, third party involvement, multiple locations of themes, and additional works such as copy type.

  • Graphic Design.
  • A quote will be provided and agreed for all enquiries in advance of any works undertaken.
  • 2D design work subject to an hourly rate of £6 per hour. An estimate of expected time frame will be provided at quote.
  • Additional charges for non-exclusive rights to any existing Paul Tyson Photography images used in the works subject to half of the current rates*.

*Charges for photo use are waived if the digital images have been purchased separately at the time or prior to commissioning the graphic design works.

  • Additional images required for project will be charged at basic or advanced photo commission rates subject to client requirements.
  • Printing charges at cost price dependant on requirements and copy type availability on Island.

Payment.

Payments are to be made by cash or bank transfer with 30 days of agreed completion of project.
